St. James’ Episcopal School
Stonehaven, Scotland
“The Chapel School”
School Class ca. 1910

From The Leader, February 11, sometime in the 1980s:

“An Edenholme resident with a sharp memory managed to name nearly every pupil in the old photograph of St. James’ Episcopal School, Stonehaven, featured in The Leader on February 11.  Eighty-eight-year-old Elizabeth Christie was a few years younger than the children pictured but remembers most of them clearly, including the teachers whom she thinks were Miss Alan and Miss Auld.”

I have chosen to include the photograph in this large size in hopes that you might be able to see a family member you are researching as they looked in their childhood.  Happy Hunting!   The names from the newspaper article are listed below the photograph.
